12 week Costume Making course
Intermediate Level
Start Date: 9th September 2024
An intensive course that will teach students how to make costumes from start to finish.
With a focus on homing your costume making skills. The course is 100% practical, with no pressure of essays or dissertations. Learn some of the best techniques and skills required to start your costume making career.
Part Time Personalised Training
Beginner to Advanced Level
Start Date: 9th September 2024
This course is designed to be a more flexible and cheaper alternative to the 12 week Costume making course, for those who may not have the time to commit to 12 full weeks
Learn new skills from the beginning or add to existing skills.
2 day Corset making course
Intermediate Level
Course Date: 21st-22nd September 2024
Learn about the history of the corset, materials and techniques used for making.
The first of these courses will look at the 1700s and the restoration corset. A widely popular period in costume making, it would be a good skill to add to your belt.
2 Day Draping Course
Beginner and Intermediate Level
Course Date: 15th and 16th June 2024
Learn how to Drape on the stand and construct your pattern from 3D to a flat pattern. Add to your skills set with this very creative way of working.
2 day pattern adaption course

Learn to draft and adapt a pattern, and take your sewing and making skills to the next level.
2 Day Hat Making - Straw Bonnet
Intermediate Level
Course Date: 24th and 25th August 2024
Learn about the history of the bonnet, different styles, materials and techniques used for making.
Re create your own chosen reference from the regency period.
